The Fletschhornhütte is an open, unattended private hut at an altitude of 3040 metres on the eastern foothills of the Mattwaldhorn between Sengchuppa and Simplon with a wonderful view of the Mischabelchain. The hut has only 6-8 sleeping places. Booking is essential. Self-catering hut.

This includes the following information:

Important:
- A prior reservation request is mandatory.
- The reservation is only valid when it is confirmed by Rinaldo Kreuzer.
- Please cancel unused hut reservations by SMS. (A matter of honour)

Hut tax - Prices
- Adults: CHF 20.-
- Fletschhorn hut club members: CHF 10.-
- Children up to 12 years: free of charge

Infrastructure
What can you find in and around the hut?
Cooking & firewood:
Wood-burning cooker in the main room, 1-burner gas rechaud with 11kg gas cylinder. Wood in the detached shed to the east of the hut. Emergency wood supply for the winter in the anteroom. Cooking and eating utensils/cutlery.
No food and drinks for sale (self-catering hut)
Heating:
The dining and lounge area in solid quarrystone masonry can only be heated to a limited extent. The wood is primarily used for cooking. The wood supply cannot be replenished in winter.
Sleep:
6-8 berths in the attic, mattresses covered with sheets, pillows, woollen blankets. Please bring your own sleeping bag.
Water:
Information about the water barrel is available in the hut (only in summertime).
Lighting:
A small PV system makes it possible to charge mobile phones. Light in the vestibule and lounge.
WC / washing:
Separate toilet block with a beautiful view. No washroom.
Various:
Wooden box for personal effects in the anteroom. Slippers (Crocs). Mobile phone reception on the ridge above the toilet block.
Emergency pharmacy available (report if used)
Waste:
Please take all waste with you and dispose of it in the valley.

from Gspon to the hut in 5 Hours (easiest ascent)
Marked high-level trail ("Saaser Höhenweg") to Finilu, Obere Schwarze Wald to Färiga.
From Füls Moos: follow the cairns in a north-easterly direction.
3.5 hours to the hut.
from Saas Balen to the hut in 5 hours
Road or hiking trail to Siwine. From there through the forest to the high-level trail on Siwibode. Cross the ridgeway and follow the steep bisse at the upper left end of the alp to Jänziboden. Cross the Mattwaldbach stream to Füls Moos.
From Füls Moos: follow the cairns in a north-easterly direction.
